Contracts & Covenants III

If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

In a fallen society, we are systemically flooded with ideologies and man made traditions that are in direct opposition to God. Due to our collective ignorance, simply meaning lack of knowledge; we are participants in activities that have significant spiritual implications. The deception is so meticulously ingrained into society that it has become normalized, with any knowledge of the truth suppressed but that is now changing. Contrary to what the Epstein files revealed, satanic rituals and child sacrifices have been in existence since biblical days as a requirement in worship to false gods. For this reason the Hebrews were instructed to live a set apart life, one that shows compassion to their neighbors while never assimilating to their culture. Leviticus 18 states:

The Lord spoke to Moses: Speak to the Israelites and tell them: I am the Lord your God. Do not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, or follow the practices of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You must not follow their customs. You are to practice my ordinances and you are to keep my statues by following them.

Despite God’s instructions, a common theme that occurs throughout the Old Testament is idolatry. I believe the most significant occurrence can be observed when King Solomon made the decision to worship false gods. God made a promise with Solomon, as long as he and his descendants walked righteously, the throne would be his forever (1 Kings 9:4). As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods and he was no longer devoted to the Most High like his father, David. He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidoneans and Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites (1 Kings 11).

As a result of King Solomon’s idolatry, the once united Kingdom was now divided. The Northern Kingdom consisted of 10 tribes and became known as Israel. The Southern Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Judah, consisted of the tribes Judah and Benjamin (1 Kings 12:21). This act would become historically significant, as Israel would be taken into exile by the Assyrians (2 Kings 17) and Judah exiled by the Babylonians (2 Kings 24). If the writer of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, the wisest man to ever live, fell into idolatry; how prideful are we to think it could never happen to us?

Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup so that the outside of it may also become clean. Matthew 23

Jesus’ (Yahshua) message is revolutionary because it dismantles the religious, moral and social constructs of society. While the Pharisees heavily condemned people for not following religious traditions, Yahshua teaches that sin is not limited to outward expression but also has the ability to manifest according to the condition of your heart. For what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart and this defiles a person. From the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies and slander (Mathew 15:18).

Spiritual Stongholds

Recalling from Part II of this series, the spiritual realm operates under a similar structure of laws and agreements, contracts and covenants. Every action taken in our physical reality has a direct impact on the spiritual realm and vice versa. Consequently, whether it’s the idols that you serve or the idols of your heart, under each circumstance an open door is created in the spiritual realm allowing legal rights for the enemy to access your life and the formation of strongholds.

The literal definition of a stronghold is a fortified place of security. As a visionary, when I hear the word stronghold, I imagine a medieval moated castle. Or a city surrounded by a wall with heavily armed guards. When applying the same visualization to a mental stronghold, the castle and city wall now represent a particular belief system that is unable to be penetrated or changed. Therefore, a mental stronghold can be defined as a fortified way of thinking that goes against the truth and knowledge of God. Even when you are exposed to the truth, it is unable to be accepted.

Spiritual strongholds are constructed over time and rooted in unrepented sin, trauma or disappointment one may have experienced. As sinister as it sounds, the enemy will take any opportunity presented to establish distorted perceptions about your view on God, yourself and others. For this reason, we are called to be alert and sober minded because the adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour (1 Peter 5:8). When not dismantled, strongholds have the ability to pass on to the next generation. Personally we have been miseducated to think the enemy cares about you individually. It is not solely about you but the creation of an opportunity to have access to your entire blood line.

Lastly, because we were created with a spirit, soul and body, it is not uncommon for spiritual strongholds to transform into addictive behaviors or show up as chronic symptoms in the body. The American healthcare system has been fashioned in a way that separately treats physical and mental disorders while completely ignoring the spiritual aspect of an individual. It is my belief that the condition of your soul has a direct effect on the condition of your body. While the reality of spiritual strongholds may be hard to digest, the good news is that you no longer have to be in agreement with what is keeping you bound.

Although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God and we take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3

Healing the land

There is a spiritual war taking place that is unseen to the natural eye but its manifestations can be identified worldwide. Our society is plagued with healthcare disparities, social injustice, political corruption, religious deception and economic uncertainty; all systematically designed to keep you spiritually dormant. We live in a system that is propelled by the false ideology of an American Dream, which has slowly redefined God’s ordained purpose of the covenantal relationship between man and woman; while promoting witchcraft disguised as culture.

Bringing to remembrance Ephesians 6:12, this spiritual war is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. While spiritual strongholds can apply to each person individually, they also can apply to geographic regions that are governed by specific principalities. For this reason, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans and Los Angeles to name a few, can all be identified by certain characteristics. Without taking away the significance and accomplishments of social movements in the past, a spiritual fight that is only fought in the physical is always destined to fail.

Healing The soul

As a child I never did accept the idea that we were given the gift of life only to die and go to heaven. On the contrary, as believers we are meant to bring the kingdom of God to Earth. In fact it is expected of us because we were created to have dominion and sovereignty over the land. Through the fall of Adam, iniquity was crafted in the blood line of humanity leading to the defilement of the land in which we live. Nevertheless, creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God’s sons to be revealed… in the hope that creation itself will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children (Romans 8:19).

The first step towards freedom is dismantling the strongholds preventing us from accepting the truth of God. Referred to as the second Adam, Jesus (Yahshua) was sent to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, recover sight to the blind and set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18). Through repentance, a renewal of the mind and partnership with the Holy Spirit, you will be supernaturally empowered to discern the world around you and walk in authentic truth (John 14:15).

To the reader I prose the following questions: What are you in agreement with that may be contributing to a spiritual stronghold? What lies have you believed that goes against the word of God? Are you aware of what may be keeping you mentally bound and emotionally oppressed? Is it unforgiveness? Rejection? Anxiety or depression?

Since covid life as we know it has changed drastically and unfortunately there is even more change expected to take place. As it occurs, do not get caught up in the narrative of mainstream media and do not become dependent upon a system designed for your demise. Examine yourself. Examine your life. Search your heart and ask God to reveal all that is not in alignment. In order to heal the land, we must first heal ourselves because time is of the essence.

With Love,

Chandricah
